A Menu That Celebrates Tradition

The menu at Xocome Antojeria is a celebration of Mexican street food, offering a range of dishes that cater to various tastes. Their tacos are a standout, featuring fillings like tender filet mignon, cochinita pibil, and huitlacoche. The tlacoyos, oval-shaped griddled masa stuffed with refried beans, are topped with fresh vegetables, crema, salsa, and juicy beef tenderloin. For those seeking comfort food, the pambazo—a sandwich soaked in guajillo chile sauce and filled with potatoes and chorizo—is a hearty choice.

  • “ OMG !!! Amazing food with the original taste of Mexico. Service is amazing!! You won't get disappointed with any of the dishes you order. ”

  • “ Been coming here since 2019. Never been disappointed in the service or the food. Very small place with only room for about 20-25 customers. So either try your luck in getting a seat, wait, or take it home. Their homemade blue corn masa is a must have when ordering anything on the menu that calls for it. Great authentic flavor. Also looks great on a dish. The tacos are always full and never been skimped on on the meat servings. Thick blue masa tortilla. Juicy and tasty carnitas. Tender steak. 2-3 tacos is plenty for how much is served. Tlacoyo de Nopal/Cactus is delicious. Again with the blue masa filled with refried beans in the middle. Fresh grilled Nopales. Very authentic mexican food you can't really find anywhere else. Sure there's plenty of mexican joints around the city and suburbs, but no one does it like Xocome. ”

    Carlos C.
  • “ The food is amazing. We can't get enough of this place. Even though it's a bit of a drive for us, we keep going back. Haven't had a bad thing yet. If you are in the area, it is a must have if you love Mexican food. Wish I had pictures to share but we always forget when the food arrives. We just eat it all up! ”

    Chuckie V.
  • “ Food was great - portions were big and tasty. Its a small space, but was quiet when we went. ”

    Jane D.
  • “ There is no Ambiance it's a small place with couple tables more of a carry out I'll say. But their food is very good I will definitely come back! ”

    Irma P.
  • “ This hole in the wall restaurant, with no frills, no ambiance, without a bar, and having a very short and abbreviated menu is making some unbelievable Mexican food. I mean "real deal" D.F. (Mexico City) style food, that can rival any place with in 100 miles of Pilsen. Yes, it was just that good! Even my Latina, Chef wife who is a bit of a foodie snob was impressed; and that's saying a mouthful (excuse my pun). I mean, if you blink an eye for one second, you'll probably drive by this small place and not even notice it was there. So, on this Sunday night, at 7:30, we walked into this empty restaurant and us four said in unison "Uh Oh"! Well, after ordering and getting and tasting their food, that "Uh Oh" became "OMG"! We ordered: * Three Pollo enchiladas with rice, beans, salad all for $15 and all very good * A Burrito Birria that was just excellent * A Birria Gordita that was fantastic * A Cochinita Pinot Gordita that was crazy good * Jamaica juice that went perfectly with our dinner This was a lot of very good Mexican food for $40! As far as Chicago Infatuation is concerned, it's the #1 Mexican restaurant in the city......and I concur!!! ”

    Sidney Z.
  • “ Got TLACOYO , pambazo, and quesbirria. Everything had good flavor . Good quality meat. But it is messy to eat. Everything just fell out of of the bread or taco . Had to constantly scoop or out back on. Green and smoke sauces were really good . Service was great and fast ”

    Alexander T.
  • “ Super friendly staff. Food made to order, and portions are generous. We especially enjoyed the Cochinita Pibil Tlacoyo. The meat was full of flavor! Definitely will be back to try more. ”

    Cher C.
